Since 2016, Anthony has brought his sharp eye, steady hands, and artistic spirit to J Salon & Phil’s Barber Shop. With a background in art and a deep love for creative expression, Anthony sees barbering as more than a trade — it’s a visual art.

Anthony specializes in all types of haircuts and textures, thriving on the challenge of tailoring each service to the client’s unique features and preferences. Known for being detail-oriented and versatile, he approaches every guest with care, adaptability, and intention. “Every client is different,” he says. “It's never a one-size-fits-all experience — and that’s what keeps me inspired.”

In addition to cutting, Anthony is also a master of the straight razor. As the shaving educator for Phil’s Barber Shop, he sets the standard for precision, technique, and safety- helping train the next generation of barbers while delivering exceptional hot towel shaves and beard detailing. His steady hand and thoughtful approach make him a go-to for guests looking for an elevated grooming experience.

Barbershop guests love the sense of calm and connection Anthony creates in his chair. Whether a crisp taper or a traditional straight razor shave, his work blends clean technique with personality, leaving guests confident and sharp . His kuleana — or personal responsibility — is to make sure each person leaves feeling like their best self.

Outside the barbershop, Anthony is a dancer at heart, with a passion for R&B, hip-hop, contemporary dance and hula. His love for movement, rhythm, and culture informs his artistic style and fuels his energy. Though naturally introverted, Anthony knows how to turn it on when it matters — delivering standout results with a smile and good vibes every time.
